Here we will list some of the activities and events that are organised by verified and reputable third-party organisations.
Re-Connect Gentle Movement Class (Mondays and Thursdays)
These gentle movement classes are for older people aged 65+ on Mondays and Thursdays from 10.30am – 12.15pm.
These supportive community classes are designed for people who may have Dementia, Parkinson’s or restricted movement.
The activities will be led by a professional dance artist, supported by volunteers and movements can be done seated, standing or a combination of both!
These projects are free for participants, and are an opportunity for people to improve their health and wellbeing, make new friends and learn a new skill.
Classes will be held at DN Studios, 9b South Gyle Crescent, Edinburgh EH12 9EB.

Access Opera – Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi
Access performances are open to all and make coming to a favourite opera as relaxed as possible.
Festival Theatre Edinburgh – Thursday 23 March 3pm

With full cast and orchestra and narration to take you through the story, there are extra staff on hand to help and a smaller capacity to allow everyone space. So whether you’re living with dementia or Long COVID, recovering from an operation, have a young baby or would simply benefit from the more relaxed atmosphere, you can enjoy everything opera has to offer.
