The work of the Edinburgh Branch is funded through the generosity of donors. This may be via individual legacies and donations, contributions by participants towards activities, or money from fundraising events. In past years the Branch and its Members have organised coffee mornings, ceilidhs, quiz nights, line dancing, a biscuit quiz, race nights, art group exhibitions/sales, Burns’ suppers, can collections, raffles, teddy naming.
We are always looking for new ideas and if you have any suggestions we would be delighted to hear them.
It never ceases to amaze us when external organisations raise funds for the Branch through their own events. Finally, there are the praise-worthy relatives and friends of Branch Members, including our activity facilitators, who take on a particular challenge to raise money for us or for Parkinson’s UK and whom we acknowledge in our News.
Personal donations can also be made via the Donate section on this page, where taxpayers can obtain copies of Gift Aid Tax Forms.
