The Scottish Government Wants to Change the Way They Plan Your Health and Care Services

The Scottish government wants to abolish plans for specific health conditions like neurological conditions, stroke and heart disease. It proposes / wants to replace them with a single framework covering all long-term conditions.  Parkinson’s UK Scotland are concerned this could impact how your care is funded and planned.

Health strategies are important because they influence NHS and council funding. They describe the care that people should receive, and direct health professional training and research.

Parkinson’s UK Scotland want to make sure that the Scottish Government hears what people affected by Parkinson’s think about these plans. So they need your help!

Please complete their short poll before Monday 7 July.  It should take less than 5 minutes

Tanith and Mairi from the Parkinson’s UK Scotland Team  we will include the findings in their response to the consultation.
