Dr Richard Davenport, Consultant Neurologist at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, and a great friend to the Branch, gave an outstanding review talk at our meeting on 13th January at Bellvue Chapel. A larger-than-usual audience, attracted by the speakers’ reputation, were treated to a guided tour through the history of PD and the painfully slow development of understanding of the condition and its treatment.
