Many of us are missing the vibrant Café meetings we used to have at the Festival Theatre before lockdown, which we hope to resume as soon as circumstances allow us to.
Meanwhile, the Community Development Group, recently formed within the Branch Committee, is proposing a couple of experimental Online Teatime Chats.
The first is at 3pm/15:00 on Thursday 14th October, with Anne Chalmers as Zoom host.
The second is at 3pm/15:00 on Thursday 28th October, with Gina Allan as Zoom host.
You are warmly invited to join one or both of these. We have to hold them online, so please show up in good time – with a cup of tea and a goodie or two – for a friendly teatime catch-up and chat with whomever else joins the party.
Our plan, once everyone has gathered and greeted, is to break into smaller groups to chat about anything you choose to, just as you would (or as near as the tech allows!) at a regular café.
The small groups will change after a suitable period, to encourage variety, interest and fun.
