We are happy to confirm after much research and deliberation, we have a new venue for our Wednesday Get-Togethers for the 2024-25 annual calendar. The time is the same: 2pm-4pm (see below for dates).
We will be moving to LifeCare, 2 Cheyne Street, EH4 1JB (in Stockbridge). We will have one of the rooms on the first floor – which is accessed via a lift. The centre is bright, welcoming and due to the location we hope will prove popular. Lothian Buses 24 and 29 go very close to the centre and the 36 goes to Dean Bridge which is a fairly short walk along to the LifeCare.
Stockbridge is a lovely area with it’s range of interesting shops, and plenty cafes. It is hoped those coming from further afield might use the time before the meeting to explore and enjoy the area.
Within the centre is CaféLife. They confirm this “is an accessible community café in Stockbridge. We use fresh, healthy ingredients to produce affordable, nutritious meals for the entire community”. Opening hours are 9am – 3pm, so you might like to have lunch before the Get-Together (though we do supply tea/coffee and biccies).
