NeuroCARE App – a digital health monitoring research study

This online ERIG meeting took place on Saturday 24 February 2024 at 10:00. The speaker was Dr Johnny Tam, a Clinical Research Fellow at the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic. He spoke and answered questions about a new research study and was looking for volunteers with Parkinson’s to join the study entitled:

NeuroCARE App – a digital health monitoring research study

The study aims to use everyday digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers to enable participation in health research in neurological conditions. By completing tasks such as speech recordings, health questionnaires, and memory games, participants can contribute information that will help improve the diagnosis and monitoring of neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease. The study is led by the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic at the University of Edinburgh.
