EYPSG Meeting – Smelling Parkinson’s

Joy Milne’s husband had PD. Her ability to smell Parkinson’s first came to light in a 2013 trial involving Edinburgh Branch Members and organised by Tilo Kunath, University of Edinburgh. The Edinburgh Young Parkinson’s Support Group invited Joy to talk at their Zoom-based 4th June meeting. Joy, who originally trained as a nurse, spoke about her collaborative work with Professor Perdita Barran, University of Manchester. The research is focussed on developing a smell-led approach to diagnosing Parkinson’s. You can view Joy’s presentation slides here
