Important
For the time being, Edinburgh Branch has suspended all face to face activities. This is to help everyone follow Government and NHS requests in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the rapidly changing context, please follow all official guidelines as they are issued. The Branch Committee is keeping the situation under review and we will provide additional information and advice as it becomes available.
Since a great many of us are over seventy and have health conditions, we are more likely to be vulnerable to the virus, if we catch it, than other age groups. It is up to us therefore to do our best to minimise any potential call upon NHS resources. We can do this by our strict adherence to official advice.
Stay home, stay safe, stay in touch!
― David Adams, Branch Chair
The Parkinson’s Nurse Specialist Team have asked that we draw attention to the procedures for attending any NHS Outpatients appointments as set out in the pdf: Generic Physical Distancing Arrangements in Outpatients
