Thistle Foundation: Adaptive Bike Sessions

We were given details of about Thistle Outdoors Adaptive Bike Sessions.

These sessions are open to adults of all abilities, including those with Parkinson’s, who are looking for a fun and supportive way to engage in physical activity.  Build your cycling skills in a fun, inclusive environment

The sessions are free and open to all, with no need to book in advance.

What is on offer?

Adapted Bikes for All Abilities: A variety of specially designed bikes tailored to meet diverse needs.

Inclusive for Wheelchair Users: Wheelchair users can join in on the fun too! Just bring along a carer or friend to support you.

Craigmillar

When: Every Tuesday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm
Where: 13 Queen’s Walk, Edinburgh EH16 4EA

Saughton

When: Every Thursday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Where: Saughton Park (Ford’s Rd Car Park, Edinburgh, EH11 3HR)

For both, everyone is welcome. Priority for people with long-term health conditions and disabilities.  For those who prefer a quieter experience, it is recommend to join the Tuesday session at Craigmillar, as it tends to be calmer compared to the Thursday session at Saughton Park.
