Yoga for Parkinson’s

Yoga for Parkinson’s is one of our popular regular activities.

The sessions are currently still taking place on Zoom, on Tuesdays from 4-5pm.

The class is running close to full and we would love to put on an extra session, if we can get a few more people to join in. With winter fast approaching, we really think Yoga can be beneficial.

Some research uncovered that  yoga in the winter can:

  • Enable physical strength and stability when walking through windy or icy conditions
  • Support mental focus and stress management that can be more prevalent when the days are shorter
  • Combining breath and movement can ‘cultivate inner calm and calm’  (source)
