What Matters to Me? Personal Parkinson’s Perspectives

Amina McDiarmid, ARUK Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Early Career) from University of Edinburgh is carrying out this research. It’s different to some of the other research we’ve been hearing about lately, so we wanted to share with you.

Parkinson’s UK who support Amina research gave us some information;

“Take part in this mission to understand personal perspectives on future Parkinson’s treatments!
“What Matters to Me?” aims to understand personal perspectives on treatments, side effects, risks and new therapies.

What is Amina asking?

People affected by Parkinson’s to participate in 30-40 minute interview in person or by telephone. Anonymised responses and feedback will be analysed to shape future drug development research.

What’s in it for you? Refreshments (in-person interviews only) and an honorarium or gift are offered to thank you for sharing your experience and time.
