The Scottish Government is developing a new benefit in Scotland, for people at state pension age in need of assistance, which will replace Attendance Allowance.
The design of the new benefit has not been finalised, and the Scottish Government are keen to get input from people of state pension age, from now until the end of August.
Specifically, Scottish Government Researchers wish to contact the following:
- people at state pension age in need of assistance
- people helping those at state pension age in need of assistance
If you are interested in the research, you would be asked to participate in research sessions and consider volunteering for future research.
If you would like more information or register your interest in participating in the research, contact Scottish Government Researcher Iulian Mihaita, by email: pensionage.disabilitypayment@gov.scot or by phone: 07780395773
