Parkinson’s Sporting Memories Sessions

Looking to blether and have some fun through the power of sporting reminiscence?  We highly recommend these fun, interactive, and cognitively stimulating sessions (which are free).  Relive, rejoice, and relish, in memories of sport and events of the past.

  • When: Thursdays 10:30am – 12pm
  • Where: Liberton Northfield Church. Edinburgh, EH16 5TT

This is a partnership with Parkinson’s UK Scotland and Sporting Memories, who are a charity and social enterprise that helps people to reminisce, replay, and connect.

These sessions are for anyone affected by Parkinson’s, looking to keep mentally active, and Increase community engagement.

You can look forward to reminiscing, camaraderie, team quiz’s, and some light movement (which can be done seated).
You can also enjoy a cuppa. a biscuit, and a good blether!  Refreshments are provided.

There is on-site and street parking available, as well as a bus stop (number 3,8,29) directly outside the venue.
This venue has disabled access.

The session facilitator is trained by Sporting Memories and supported by a volunteer. Attendance Is free.
