Important news for Edinburgh Branch of Parkinson’s UK.
From today for the time being, as an emergency measure, two of the three NHS Edinburgh Parkinson’s Nurses have been pulled into staffing hospital wards.
They plan to contact all outpatients who are affected personally by this to postpone their appointments.
This news will be updated every week until the Parkinson’s Nurses can re-establish their normal work with patients.
If you need help, please use the Parkinson’s UK Helpline as much as you can (Tel: 0808 800 0303). Messages may be left on the Nurses’ line also, which, with reduced staff, may be subject to a delay in response.
