Painting with Parkinson’s: Art Therapy Discussion on BBC Sounds

Billy Connolly has released a new art series, and Kaye Adams on her Morning show on 14th August, has a section in the programme where she seeks to find out how art therapy can help those living with Parkinson’s Disease. She initially chats to Ali Blevins, an award-winning painter, who took up art after her diagnosis in 2017.  Then they are joined by our very own Lindsay McDermid, who developed Parkinson’s almost 20 years ago (at age 45) and who runs our Thursday Art Group.
