‘Open to All’ online information session – What benefits are you entitled to?

Parkinson’s UK Scotland are hosting an online information session on Tuesday 19 March, from 7- 8.30pm.

The focus is on: ‘What benefits are you entitled to?’  This will be a Presentation with Q&As.

This session is for people with Parkinson’s and family members living in Scotland.  The session focusses on benefits and entitlements.  David Goldthorp is one of Parkinson’s UK Benefit and Employment Advisers based in Scotland who has been with Parkinson’s UK for over 8 years.

David will be providing information and updates related to the benefits that you may be entitled to. This will include information on benefits specifically for people in Scotland and also important updates for some people currently on Working or Child Tax Credits, Income Support, Jobseekers Allowance and some people currently claiming Housing Benefit. David will also cover additional benefits such as Blue Badges, the Motability Scheme, travel and leisure discounts; and more!

Whilst there will be the opportunity to ask questions, we won’t be able to discuss any specific personal circumstances or information in the session. If you require detailed benefit advice about your specific circumstances, you can also contact the Parkinson’s UK Helpline on 0808 800 0303 and they can put you in touch with our Parkinson’s Adviser and Benefit & Employment Adviser teams.

To register for the session, please contact Chloe MacMillan on 0300 123 3679 or email: cmacmillan@parkinsons.org.uk
