‘Open to All’ Online Information Session: ‘How can tech help people with Parkinson’s?’

Parkinson’s UK Scotland are hosting this Open to All Session on Tuesday 21st April, 7pm – 8.30pm. The format is a presentation followed by Q&As

There are lots of devices and apps aimed at people with Parkinson’s. The Parkinson’s UK Tech Guide is somewhere to discover and understand them. It’s somewhere you can go to work out what to trust with your time, your money and your health. And it’s somewhere you can share your own experiences and discoveries with others.

The Tech Guide contains a broad list of devices and apps that are aimed at people with Parkinson’s, that you can get yourself in the UK. And Parkinson’s UK are working their way through this list, reviewing them based on the real-world experience of people with Parkinson’s. And they connect you to the information and support you need to make the right decisions for yourself about this technology.

At this session, John Pettigrew will introduce you to the Tech Guide and discuss some of the products listed in it, to help you make more confident decisions about using tech to support your Parkinson’s journey.

To register, please complete this Google Form  or contact Chloe on 0300 123 3679 or cmacmillan@parkinsons.org.uk.
