Open Day and Lab Tours at University of Dundee

Join the University of Dundee and the Dundee Research Interest Group for this in person event featuring talks, tours and lunch!

  • Where: At the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit, Sir James Black Centre School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee Dundee DD1 5EH

They are inviting people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones to join them at this free, in person event, featuring a range of research talks and lab tours. You will have the chance to see science in action, learn more about the Parkinson’s research happening in Dundee, and meet the scientists carrying it out.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Dario Alessi, Director of the MRC PPU
  • Professor Miratul Muqit, Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellow in Clinical Science, Consultant neurologist
  • Dr Esther Sammler, Clinical Programme Leader, Consultant neurologist
  • Dr Andy Howden, Principal Investigator in Cell Signalling and Immunology
  • Dr Will Farnaby, Principal Investigator in the Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation

Lunch and refreshments throughout the day are included.
