Parkinson’s UK Scotland sent us information about an ‘Open to All’ online information session: ‘Advanced therapies for people with Parkinson’s’. Everyone is welcome to register to join the session.
When: Thursday 29 January, 7pm – 8.30pm
Format: Presentation followed by Q&A session
There may come a time when medication taken as tablets, capsules or patches is no longer working so well to control your symptoms. This is when other solutions may be considered.
Consultant Neurologist Dr Vicky Marshall will talk through some of the advanced therapies that are available, or being trialled, for people with Parkinson’s such as Apomorphine, Produodopa, Duodopa, Deep Brain Stimulation and Focused Ultrasound.
