Our wonderful fundraiser Lou Ogilvy came up with an idea to create a cookbook, with contributions from Branch members and their family and friends.
The idea was for people to think about a dish that they have loved making over lockdown. So it’s a bit like a cookbook of the ultimate in comfort food, to some extent!
The books are now on sale. We are more than pleased with the quality of the books, they really will make excellent gifts. The book is 75 pages, with a vast range of recipes which are tastefully illustrated, with colour photographs.
The cost is £10 per book. Postage and Packaging costs are £2.50. It may be possible for you to collect from Lou, or from one of the volunteers who live in Edinburgh (you can discuss with Lou – though we must make sure we abide by any Covid-19 travel restrictions!)

Payment can be by cheque, or cash (sent to Lou), and also electronically through our Just Giving page. If paying through Just Giving, please enter in the comments box your name and the word ‘Cookbook’. Also, please do not claim Gift Aid (if you are eligible to do so), as it does not apply when we provide goods in exchange for money.
