Hansard: Debate on Parkinson’s (17th Nov)

The Parky Charter is a powerful five-point plan created by the “Movers and Shakers” podcast group. Movers and Shakers gathered enough signatures for a Parliamentary debate which took place on 17th November, and lasted 1.5 hours.

The Parky Charter is backed by Parkinson’s UK, and aims to improve the lives of those living with Parkinson’s. It calls for faster access to specialists; clear and immediate information; a Parkinson’s passport to ensure joined-up support; comprehensive support across health and social services; and renewed investment in research for a cure.

You can view the debate on the UK Parliament YouTube Channel (it starts at about 5 minutes into the video)
