There is a team of four running on behalf of Parkinson’s UK Scotland, who are coming to Edinburgh to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 29th May.
It would be amazing to have some extra support at their ‘Cheerpoint’. There will be people from P-UK Scotland at the Cheerpoint from 8am-4pm, but additional people will make all the difference.
The Cheerpoint location is near the Levenhall Arms pub on Ravenshugh Road, Musselburgh EH21 7PP
Please, do try to go along. It really does make a huge difference to the spirits of runners. We figure that it’s around 10 or 10.5 miles into the run to get to this point, so extra motivation will help a lot!
As a side note, the profile photo we use on our social media is James Mark (son of Vice Chair Patrick) after he completed the Berlin Marathon to raise funds for the Branch. If you or any of your family are runners, might they consider running in a future marathon to help raise funds, for either the Branch, or Parkinson’s UK?
