With the recent announcement and the easing of restrictions, Edinburgh Leisure have been in touch with us. To encourage regular swimming, the Branch entered into an affiliation with the Edinburgh Leisure Community Access Programme (CAP). This means that a Member with Parkinson’s may apply for a Get Active Card which allows for you to swim in any Edinburgh Leisure pool for £1.
The announcement confirms:
“Leisure centres will open for individual exercise on the 26th of April, including gyms, swimming pools, indoor court hire, racquet sports and children’s coaching. This is pending a government announcement on the 20th of April. We will contact customers directly over the coming weeks with specific venue and activity restart information”.
