Drama for Fun with Pam Wardell

Pam, a former BBC Radio Producer (plays, Book-at-Bedtime, etc.) spoke to us at the October Branch Get-together then we mentioned in the October Newsletter the possibility of establishing a Branch Drama Group. Because of the potential benefits for the voice and vocal communication in general, as well as the pleasure such a group can bring to those involved, Pam is keen to get something off the ground. To this end, we have organised two taster sessions for people with Parkinson’s, their care-partners and family members on Thursday 21st November, 2019 as follows:

Taster Session One: 2.30pm, at Santosa, a delightful cafe and wellness centre, 21 Albert Street EH7 5LH – https://studio.santosa.co.uk/
Taster Session Two: 6.30pm, Conservatory at The Steading, 118-120 Biggar Road EH10 7DU, which hosts our Edinburgh Young Parkinson’s Support Group – https://www.thesteadingedinburgh.co.uk/

There will be rhymes, tongue-twisters, vocal exercises, sound effects, and more, so please bring your voice, ideas and stories to share in some entertaining fun!
