Iain is a well-established Member of the Edinburgh Young Parkinson’s Support Group (EYPSG). He has just retired from his position as Business Development Manager within the Research Engagement Department at Heriot-Watt University, a department that focuses on facilitation and support for industry collaboration across the University. One of the most notable projects supported in recent years has been ORCA, which is developing robotic solutions for the offshore renewables sector. Iain worked at Heriot-Watt on three occasions, totalling over fifteen years in both research and business development positions. His colleagues from the University have donated over £400 (including Gift Aid) via our JustGiving page over the last few weeks, with many quotes from donors recognising their appreciation of Iain as a friend and colleague.
