Members of the public had the opportunity to vote for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Best Show Garden. They decided that Arit Anderson, designer of the Parkinson’s UK – A Garden for Every Parkinson’s Journey was their Best Show Garden.
The RHS website article confirms “The creation of the garden has been an emotional one for Arit, as her sister has the condition. “This is a personal garden for me as my sister is living with Parkinson’s, so I really wanted to raise awareness of this little-understood condition,” said Arit”.

The article confirms about the image above “Parkinson’s UK – A Garden for Every Parkinson’s Journey features a curvaceous shelter and twisting ‘hand rill’ surrounded by a mixture of joyful and soothing planting.”
The Parkinson’s UK – A Garden for Every Parkinson’s Journey is being relocated to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, a Parkinson’s Centre of Excellence.
