Parkinson’s UK Scotland are looking for some volunteers to join them at their Your Move community photoshoot.
When: 12 noon, Wednesday 29 April
Where: Outside the main entrance of Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh, EH8 8AS.
They have gathered nearly 800 postcards asking the leaders of Scotland’s biggest political parties to make their move for people with Parkinson’s. They are organising a community photoshoot to get photos for social media, communications to party leaders, and future campaign materials.
What They Need:
- They are looking for at least 10 representatives from across groups and activities to take part but the more the merrier
- If you have a Parkinson’s UK T-shirt, please wear it; however, they will have some spares.
- They will ask you to complete a photo consent form to cover use of the photos.
- After the photoshoot, join them for an optional cuppa and cake at the Dynamic Earth Cafe.
Information about travelling to Dynamic Earth is available here, and there is an underground car park on site.
They can cover reasonable travel expenses for getting to and from Dynamic Earth, including public transport, mileage and parking, although we imagine this opportunity will be most attractive for people who live in or close to Edinburgh.
