The third session of the online programme takes place on Wednesday 15 April at 7pm.
This session is “A peer support discussion followed by an online massage/meditation session – join us for an open session where you can ask questions and seek advice from each other. (Questions can be submitted in advance and read out anonymously, if you’d prefer). Then, sit back and enjoy a relaxing treat.”

Parkinson’s UK Scotland have arranged another block of 4 online sessions, specifically for family members, friends and/or carers of people with Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s does not only affect the person with Parkinson’s. Family members and supporters can also be affected in many different ways. People often say that it can be helpful to get together with others facing the same challenges.
Some feedback from previous sessions: “I have loved speaking to people who truly understand my situation and it has allowed new friendships to develop, increasing my support network. This gives me great comfort and support for the future”.
It can be difficult to discuss how Parkinson’s has impacted on you in front of the person you support, so these Zoom sessions are only open to family members, friends and/or carers.
These take place on the last Tuesday of the month in September, October and November.
Here is a summary of the dates – more details in the image:
- Thursday 19th March 2026 at 7pm: Presentation with Q&As
- Tuesday 25th March at 7pm: Male carers peer support discussion
- Wednesday 15th April at 7pm: Peer support followed by relaxation
- Thursday 21st May at 7pm: Presentation followed by discussion
