On Monday 20 May, Parkinson’s UK is launching the ‘Parkinson’s Research Needs You’ campaign.
Over the week, they will highlight the importance and benefits of taking part in and shaping research. We will hear from Network members who will share what the community means to them. They will also talk about their unique experiences of taking part in research and volunteering roles to help push research forward.
Without people taking part in research, it would not be possible to develop new treatments. The Research Support Network’s goal is to inspire those affected by Parkinson’s to connect with others and build a community through the Research Support Network.
To find a treatment for everyone with the condition, it’s important that everyone feels welcome and represented in research.
From Monday 20 May, we are invited to join in with sharing the campaign with our loved ones, friends and wider communities. We will be able to find the stories on their research blog, and look for their social media posts to then share, and help make sure everyone has a voice in research.
