Are you a spouse, family member, friend or supporter of someone with Parkinson’s?
You are invited to Parkinson’s UK Scotland’s ‘By Carers For Carers’ online information and support session. This is for family members, friends and supporters of people living with Parkinson’s. The session is on Thursday 30 October, 2pm – 3.30pm, and takes place online. (Don’t forget the next Branch Carer Support Group takes place on Wed 29th Oct, at 10.30am)
At the online session, attendees will:
- hear from other Parkinson’s family members, friends and supporters about what has helped them to manage the Parkinson’s diagnosis moving forward;
- hear about the Parkinson’s Local Adviser role and how they can help; (and after a comfort break)
- attendees will be able to ask questions and access peer support informally.
It can be difficult to discuss how Parkinson’s has impacted on you in front of people with Parkinson’s, so please note these Zoom sessions are only open to family members, friends and/or carers.
To register for the online ‘By Carers for Carers’ session, please complete this Google Form or contact Chloe at cmacmillan@parkinsons.org.uk or by phone: 0300 123 3679.
