Edinburgh Parkinson’s Lecture 2018

This year’s lecture will be given by Professor Giovanna Mallucci of the University of Cambridge on 17th September 2018 at 7.15 pm.

  • Giovanna Mallucci is Associate Director of the UK Dementia Research Institute at the University of Cambridge.
  • She is van Geest Professor of Clinical Neurosciences and an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
  • Professor Mallucci’s lab is internationally recognised for landmark studies defining common mechanisms underlying the causes of dementia and other neurodegenerative disorders, like Parkinson’s disease, which can be targeted for treatment.

The venue this year is the Wellcome Auditorium in the Queen’s Medical Research Institute, University of Edinburgh, co-located with the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary at Little France.
